Blackmon Murray LLC Announces Major Renovations Nearing Completion for Spring and Summer Season at The Waterfront Lodge, Marina & RV
  
Don Murray, Owner and Managing Director, Blackmon Murray LLC, today announced that several major renovation projects have been completed at The Waterfront Lodge Marina & RV.  The property has substantially recovered from damages caused by Hurricane Ike in the fall of 2008 totalling hundreds of thousands of dollars.  The outstanding construction work is being performed by Fults Construction, Livingston, Texas, Richard Fults, Owner.
 
Newly Renovated Covered Lighted Boat Slips
 
Twenty-four (24) newly renovated Covered, Lighted Boat Slips are now available for lease.  Several of the slips have electric lifts.
 
New Fishing Pier Completed
 
A new 1500 square foot fishing pier has been completed, replacing the old pier that served the property well for over two decades.  The new pier has a 5 foot wide walkway leading out over 116 feet into Lake Livingston and is attached to a fishing platform measuring 16 x 60 feet.  The new pier has full handrails along the exterior perimeter.  The pier sits approximately 3 feet above the lake.
 
New Bulkhead Completed for Southern Acreage
 
Nearly 600 feet of new lakefront bulkhead has been completed for the southern waterfront acreage.  This will complete the bulkhead project for the full property and provide even more groomed waterfront for our guests to leisurely walk and enjoy durng their stay.

Blackmon Murray Announces Landscape Contract with Dallas-Based G & R Tree Service
 
Blackmon Murray LLC today announced an annual contract with Dallas-based G & R Tree Service and Landscape to upgrade and maintain all property located at The Waterfront Lodge Marina & RV.  Blackmon Murray LLC Owner and General Manager, Don Murray, indicated that he was very pleased that a company with G & R’s creativity, dependability and skilled personnel would agree to travel from Dallas to work with us on our creative vision for the property. 
 
Murray stated that he has “…been doing business with G & R in the Dallas area for nearly a decade and is absolutely delighted to retain them for the Lake Livingston properties.”  G & R’s owner, Rodrigo Guzman, stated that several men from his company have spent nearly a month on the acreage surrounding the property pruning and trimming hundreds of trees.  They will maintain all lawns, planting beds, shrubs, establish new landscape and re-contour the property as agreed in fulfilling the vision of the property owners.
